The future is composites—we've known this for decades. When we started in 1986, other materials reigned supreme. But we saw the potential for strong, lightweight materials to radically transform a wide range of industries. Today, demand for composites aircraft structures is forecast to grow by 11% annually through 2027. We're uniquely suited to help our customers meet that demand.
Radius Engineering, Inc. is certified to AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015. We believe that by standardizing our key processes and sharing common objectives across our organization, we are able to swiftly and flexibly meet our customers’ needs.
Radius Engineering’s Quality Manual outlines the structure of our organization, how our key processes interact, and highlights how we achieve and maintain a Quality Management System that complies and exemplifies the AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 standards.
Radius Engineering focuses heavily on supplier relationships and performance. We believe the health of our suppliers is integral to our success. We require all suppliers to complete a rigorous self-assessment prior to earning approved supplier status, and we continually monitor supplier performance to ensure they remain capable of meeting our (and our customers’) requirements.
Radius Engineering Inc. flows down AS9100D requirements on all purchase orders. Please review our terms and conditions for more information.
An advanced space for advancing composites. Our facility achieved a Gold LEED Certification (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) by the U.S. Green Building Council. It’s bright, open and conducive to mindful thinking, creative collaboration and bold project execution. One of Utah’s first privately owned, commercial LEED certified facilities, it emphasizes personal, corporate and community well-being—inside and out. Employees enjoy easy access to the adjacent Jordan River Parkway where they’re encouraged to walk, bike, cycle and clear their heads on a scenic trail system. Our commitment to the parkway runs deep. We recently installed a drinking fountain along the path and sponsored a team of 20 to participate in a trail-side conservation project.

In early 2020, in keeping with its LEED Gold Philosophy and certification, Radius completed the installation of a roof-top solar panel array consisting of 363 Solaria PowerXT panels and 3 SMA Sunny Tripower Core1 inverters. Achieving up to 20% efficiency and 20% more energy per square meter than traditional solar panels, this system generates maximum power in minimum space, with a maximum capacity of 156 Kilowatts (kW). The design of these panels is optimized for lower overall system cost, enhanced shade performance and visual appeal, and superior reliability/durability compared to other available systems. For example, in July of 2020, Radius achieved a peak power generation of 27.7 MWh.

For fifteen years a fixture—a constantly moving and high-energy fixture—Brett helped put Radius on the composites industry map. As he moved through his day and various projects, his focused gaze migrated from one issue to another, from one person to another, from one problem to another. He seemed to hold all issues and problems in his head, working on them sequentially and simultaneously. Read more here.
We are actively involved in our community and we support a variety of community development projects
We installed a drinking fountain on our property next to the Jordan River Parkway bike path.
We sponsored 20 of our employees to participate in the Jordan River Parkway Trail-Side Conservation Project Radius supported this local development project by sponsoring employee time to participate.
We encouraged employees to participate in a Go Green to Workday. Employees traveled to work by bicycle, unicycle, train, and bus. We celebrated the day with a company sponsored BBQ.
